WICHITA – The Newman men's basketball team has announced two summer camps for the month of June. The Mark Potter Day Camp will take place from June 15-17, and the Newman Team Camp takes place from June 19-21. Both will be held at Fugate Gymnasium on the campus of Newman University.
 
The Mark Potter Day Camp is for children ages 6-16. It runs from June 15-17 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. each day with the cost at $75. The day camp is a great opportunity for those who are being introduced to the fundamentals of basketball as well as those who are advanced in the game. The game focuses on the fundamentals of shooting, passing and team offense and defense concepts. Our primary goal is to help your son improve as a basketball player and gain leadership and communications skills. Registration Is available online HERE
 
The Newman Team Camp is for high school varsity and junior varsity teams. The camp runs from June 19-21 at Fugate Gymnasium. Levels of ninth through 12^th grade can participate. The cost is $350 per team. The camp is a tournament style camp that allows teams to compete against teams from all across the state. Registration is available online HERE
